Blended Learning
Skills Junction has experimented with and refined a blended approach to transferring knowledge and skills. We have adopted a delivery model which makes use of traditional, classroom-based learning tools supplemented by online and technology-supported activities.
Learners at Skills Junction can expect contact with their lecturers/facilitators in traditional classroom settings but will also find that some classroom interactions will have technology elements added, some assessments will be done online and modules will have a technology-based component to them.
The blended learning model has the proven potential to enhance both the effectiveness and efficiency of meaningful learning experiences. Learners who are exposed to the blended learning approach always out-perform those who work in a 100% face to face contact or an online only environment. Blended learning, ensures that learners are technology savvy, and work-place ready upon course completion.
