Programme Outline
The facilitator training programme, also known as the Train-the-Trainer, is designed for those who want to learn how to facilitate outcomes-based learning programmes and improve their training skills. The course covers training and facilitation techniques, with an emphasis on outcomes-based learning principles. Participants are guided or coached to facilitate adult learning. These abilities can be applied when presenting to a group of learners in a classroom setting, one-on-one mentoring and varied presentations or providing feedback presentations in a boardroom setting.

Training Programme Prerequisites
- NQF Level 4/Grade 12
- English, verbal, and written communication
- Computer Skills
- 18 years and older
Assessment, Verification and Certification
- The Portfolio of Evidence (PoE) will be mailed sent via email to the learner;
- Formative and summative assessment activities will be presented online;
- Workplace assignments to be completed during the course online
- The PoE will be assessed by a registered assessor;
- The PoE will be submitted for internal and external ETDP moderation once the assessor determines the participant’s competency.
- Upon completion, participants will receive a Skills Junction certificate of completion.
- Upon verified competence, the participants will receive a Statement of Results (SoR) reflecting their qualification and credits achieved, and the results will be uploaded on the NLRD (National Learner Database)

NOTE: Our programme fees are all-inclusive. This means that there are no hidden costs; “the price you are quoted is the price you will pay” The fee includes:
- Training Material – soft copies
- Academic support (telephone/email/teams)
- Skills Junction’s certificate of completion
- ETDP SETA Statement of Results (SoR)
Terms and Conditions
- As training is not a recoverable item, entrance will NOT be permitted to unpaid delegates.
- Payment is required prior to attendance and may be made no later than the day of the training intervention.
- Only make payment once you have received a tax invoice.
- A digital certificate will be issued. No hard copies will be printed.
- Classes may be rescheduled if there are fewer than three enrolments per group.
- Cancellations must be made 3 days before the commencement of the training course, or a 50% cancellation fee will apply.
