Employed Learnership

Employed Learnership

As the training market evolves and new trends emerge daily, Skills Junction identified a vacuum in the market and created a one-of-a-kind product for businesses and employers who lack the number of participants required to embark on a learnership project in closed cohort groups. Our training solution allows employed learners (Learner 18.1) to participate in our Public Learnership Programmes, which are designed specifically for individuals, small teams, and departments. Participants will attend a series of workshops over a 12-month period, where they will be guided to complete Portfolios of Evidence based on their work experience.

In addition to public trainings, we also offer onsite, on-campus, and blended learning as part of our employed learnership offering.

  • When there is a compliance or requirement to address specific skill gaps.
  • When your organisation is undergoing technological updates.

Our turnkey learnership project management includes:

  • Coordination of Learner Agreements (tri-party between learner, employer, and training provider)
  • SETA Registration/Enrollment
  • Document Management
  • Project Rollout Plan
  • SETA Grant Application
  • Training Delivery - Blended and Hybrid Learning (Facilitation and Assessments)
  • Internal and External Moderation
  • Achieve and Exit
  • Certification and Graduation

Benefits of Public Employed Learnerships

Key benefits of our Public Programmes:

  • Public programmes are available to all types of businesses, large and small, and are not limited to a specific sector, so as a participant, you will have a diverse group of people to network with. Nonetheless, the common interest will be the particular qualification enrolled.
  • Suitable and cost effective where an individual or small number of employees within a team need to learn a specific skill.
  • Businesses and learners alike will have access to professional consultation on key workplace issues - Public programmes cover a wide range of topics, including recruitment and talent management, as well as employee development. They provide practical solutions and guidance that can be implemented to improve the bottom line result.

Online Learning Benefits:

  • Online learning, also known as distance learning, eLearning, or online education, provides participants with the flexibility to learn at their own pace while also allowing employers to support employee growth.
  • Online classes make use of active learning techniques such as video conferencing, instructional videos, and interactive webinars. Learners interact virtually with facilitators and also collaborate on group projects.
  • Employees can develop soft skills for the workplace through active learning, virtual collaboration and gain the communication skills and technological know-how to navigate a virtual working world as employers increasingly embrace remote working.
