SETA LEGACY QUALIFICATIONS EXTENDED

The Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) is systematically phasing out 1,475 pre-2009 legacy qualifications. However, the government has granted tailored extensions for 630 select legacy qualifications. Depending on sector readiness, these specific qualifications obtained targeted enrolment extensions ranging from 6 months to 24 months.
